We bought a Rotary wagon new  when they were new. I think we had it for a year before Dad gave up on it.

I can’t remember why it was always in the shop, all I know is that they struggled for a permanent fix.

I have no idea why Dad bought it. He was never one for brand-new technology. He sold our squareback to get it, and Mom was pissssssed. She loved that VW.

I don’t think we even have any photos of the thing.

I think it was a dark green metallic with a white interior, though.
